Community and Regional Non-Profits

 

The Bill and Carol Latimer Charitable Foundation contributes to the support of various non-profit organizations in Obion, Weakley, and Lake Counties.  

 
Examples of such programs include, but are not limited to, local or regional chapters of the
 
  • Boys and Girls Clubs
    • S.M.A.C.K. (Spirituality Molds Attitudes and Character in Kids)
  • Boy Scouts of America
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Gideons International
  • Habitat for Humanity 
  • Obion County Cancer Agency
  • Reelfoot Rural Ministries

National and International Non-Profits
 

National and international non-profit organizations are encouraged to consider locating their headquarters in our community.  The Foundation will seriously consider providing the funds necessary to construct in Union City, TN a headquarters facility for a national or international non-profit organization. 

 

The primary requirements are for headquarter operations to be staffed with individuals who would (a) relocate to this area or (b) be hired from the local pool of residents.

 

Those directly benefiting from the activities of a national or international non-profit organization need not be restricted to persons residing in this geographic locale.
